Richard originally trained as a Barrister, was called to the Bar in 2001 and cross-qualified as a Solicitor in 2003. In May 2005 he qualified as a Solicitor-Advocate (All Higher Courts) and became an Associate within Leo Abse and Cohen in May 2007.
Richard works from both the Leo Abse and Cohen Cardiff and Newport Offices. Specialising in Employment Law, he predominantly represents claimants and regularly appears in county courts and employment tribunals for various employment related disputes.
His cases include flexible working applications, unfair dismissal, redundancy, TUPE transfers, along with all types of discrimination and wages.
